Target Audience
This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychiatric nurses, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve the care of patients with mental health disorders.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
Review the historical context for current psychedelic substances and their potential as a novel therapeutic in patients with mental health disorders
Identify neurobiological and psychopharmacologic mechanisms by which psychedelics may function as effective therapeutics in patients suffering from a mental health disorder
Discuss the future landscape of mental health treatment in the event of medicalization of psychedelic substances as an approved therapeutic

Requirements for Credit and Credit Availability
To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the educational activity and complete the evaluation form. After successful completion of the evaluation form online, participants may immediately print their documentation of credit.
Healthcare professionals treating patients with mental health disorders should check with their state licensing and certification boards to determine if the Sana Symposium meets their continuing education requirements.
Credit for the On Demand activity will be available for ninety (90) days following conclusion of the internet live activity. Credit is not available for the On Demand activity after 90 days.
*If you claim credit for a live session at the Sana Symposium, you cannot claim credit for the same session via on demand. Total credit hours are subject to change.
